Overview
We are Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer (Fluids / Mechanical Systems) Senior - Level 3. The Fort Worth fluid and mechanical systems team is looking to grow the IPT with an experienced team member to support F-16, F-22, F-35, and/or ADP. This engineer will primarily assist in the production, testing, troubleshooting, requirements review, design, development, and field support of the hydraulic, fire protection, or fuel systems. Duties may include drawing changes and release, data review, supplier management, production and flight line troubleshooting, and investigation of customer questions and problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing integration trade studies of new or existing systems into existing or development aircraft.

Responsibilities
Perform analytical trade studies that support subsystem related air-vehicle development
System architecture layout
Coordination with supporting suppliers
Support development, test, and production of the system
Support quote and bid kickoffs
Provide inputs for new business proposals
Perform supplier coordination and technical oversight, including preparation of specifications and statements of work
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (equivalent degree program considered)
Experience with fuel, fire protection, or hydraulic system integration, packaging, or analysis
Desired skills
Prior technical team experience related to the development of aircraft: Hydraulic systems, Fuel systems, Fire Protection systems
Experience with defense / aerospace industry supplier management
Experience with analysis tools: Amesim, Flomaster, MATLAB, Simulink, Easy 5, CATIA V5 or V6
