Plant Financial Analyst
to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial performance at the plant level, supporting cost control initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights to help improve operational efficiency and profitability. This position will report to the Controller.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Analyze plant-level financial performance, including variances in cost, production, and operational KPIs. Partner with operations to monitor and improve cost controls, inventory management, and efficiency metrics. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the plant. Track and analyze standard costs, material costs, labor, and overhead variances. Perform financial modeling and ad hoc analysis to support decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of plant financial data to corporate finance. Participate in month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Support capital expenditure tracking and ROI analysis. Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with corporate policies and GAAP. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a
manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience is a strong plus . Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing processes. Proficient in ERP systems;
NetSuite experience is a plus . Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity. Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environments. Exposure to inventory accounting and product costing. Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., NSAW) NetSuite and/or other cloud-based ERP experience. Office setting with potential for hybrid work. Fast-paced environment requires multitasking and collaboration with multiple departments. Core Values “Equip” -
