HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to support the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) program. This critical role ensures the operational effectiveness, security, and maintenance of the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) client and server infrastructure, which is foundational to enterprise-wide modeling, simulation, and training applications for the U.S. Navy. What You Will Do Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. What You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 – 10+ years relevant experience Master’s degree in a related field and 1 – 8+ years relevant experience High school diploma or equivalent and 7 – 14+ years relevant experience Candidate must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP) Candidate must have a current or Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be maintained) Candidate must have hands-on experience with Linux system administration (preferably RHEL 7/8) Candidate must have familiarity with Windows Server environments (2016/2019) Candidate must have experience applying DoD STIGs and maintaining cybersecurity compliance Candidate must have proficiency in patching and system updates. Candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, and network layers Candidate must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical Requirements Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
