Required Education: The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field, or may be ABD with expected completion of their Ph.D. by August 2026.

Required Related Experience: Candidates should have an active research program demonstrating capacity for high level research and have an excellent record of classroom instruction. Applicants should have an expectation to publish research in top journals such as TAR, JAR, CAR, AOS, RAST, JAE, or comparable outlets.

Job Summary The Von Allmen School of Accountancy at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is pleased to invite applications for multiple tenure-eligible, Regular Title Series, positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This is a 9-month position with a start date of August 2026. Candidates should have an active research program demonstrating capacity for high level research and an excellent record of classroom instruction and an expectation to publish in top journals (TAR, JAR, CAR, AOS, RAST, JAE, or comparable outlets). The anticipated initial Distribution of Effort will be 30% teaching, 65% research, and 5% service for an assistant professor or 30% teaching, 60% research, and 10% service for an associate professor, reviewed annually.
