Overview
Assistant or Associate Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience — University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. This is a 9-month tenure-eligible faculty position with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026. Distribution of Effort: 25% Teaching, 65% Research, 10% Departmental service. Special consideration will be given to candidates whose research aligns with the university’s Substance Use Priority Research Area. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and service within the Cognitive Neuroscience Area and the Neuroscience B.S. program, and may have access to resources such as the Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy Center, Center for Clinical and Translational Science, and Sanders Brown Center on Aging. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an active externally funded research program in cognitive neuroscience. Contribute to the teaching mission by delivering undergraduate and graduate courses within the Cognitive Neuroscience area and the Neuroscience B.S. program. Engage in department service and collaboration with colleagues and students. Qualifications
Required Education: A Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, cognitive science, cognitive/behavioral neuroscience, clinical or experimental neuropsychology, or a related discipline. Required Related Experience: n/a Required License/Registration/Certification: n/a Application Materials
