Responsibilities The Summer Analyst will be responsible for providing necessary insight and input on construction schedule, cost and complexity. The construction team works alongside the project’s in-house design, financial and development management team to manage costs, explore building system alternatives, coordinate zoning and permits, and oversee the project’s construction bid and contract process.

Review and summarize documents including but not limited to partnership agreements, audits, and term sheets

Compile market research to draw comparisons between different properties

Participate in weekly meetings on current projects

Assist in creation, execution and monitoring project work plans and revisions as required to meet changing needs and requirements

Participate in creating overall project schedule and oversee timely execution

Assist with management of day-to-day operational aspects of the project

Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Qualifications Related’s summer analyst program intends to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2025 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Current undergraduate sophomore with a target graduation date between December 2026 - Spring 2028

A strong passion for real estate development

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, construction management, or other related fields

Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge

Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Self-starter, demonstrates a proactive approach to tasks and challenges

Detail-oriented

Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment

Resume must include expected graduation month/year

Compensation The hourly range for this position is $25-$30
