Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and perform internal audits across all operational areas and affiliates
Supervise documentation of internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines
Evaluate processes and internal control structures to assess adequacy and effectiveness
Guide and train staff members on audit processes and maintain updated training materials
Collaborate on special projects, including system installations and conversions
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required (Accounting, Finance, or other business major preferred)
Five years of progressively responsible internal audit or accounting experience, with at least two years in internal audit (healthcare preferred)
Licensure/certification: CIA, CPA, CISA, or CFE required; if only CISA and/or CFE, must be actively pursuing CPA or CIA
Ability to effectively lead teams and excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Word and Excel or comparable software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare internal auditing
Strong collaborative problem-solving skills
Previous experience mentoring or training staff members
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in healthcare settings
Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
