Overview The Division of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Cincinnati Children\'s is seeking faculty members at various ranks to join a diverse, multidisciplinary team focused on clinical care and research for children and adolescents with diabetes and endocrine conditions.
The Division of Diabetes and Endocrinology is ranked #1 in U.S. News & World Report\'s 2025 edition and is nationally recognized for leadership in the care of endocrine disorders, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, metabolic bone diseases, thyroid cancer, growth and puberty disorders, Turner syndrome, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and endocrine complications of childhood cancer therapy. Our faculty lead in clinical excellence, quality improvement, and a dynamic portfolio of clinical, translational, and basic science investigations.
Opportunities The Division is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor for a clinical faculty position. The candidate will direct innovative clinical care broadly relevant to endocrinology. They may join teams focused on type 1 or type 2 diabetes, hypoglycemia, bone, thyroid, puberty or growth disorders, Turner syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, and/or endocrine complications of childhood cancer therapy. The candidate will divide effort between patient care (80%) and academic activities (20%). Clinical responsibilities include outpatient clinics and inpatient service.
Qualifications
Have an MD or MD/PhD and be board- eligible or board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology
Provide outpatient diabetes and endocrine care at the Main Campus and satellite locations
Be willing to supervise the inpatient and consultation service
Participate in the training of fellows, residents and students
Those trained in Medicine and Pediatrics are encouraged to apply
