Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod . Ambitious, organized sales professional sought to support the Sales and Catering Team and provide exceptional guest service to Hotel Guests and Potential Guests. Responsibilities

Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times. Answer the general sales line and qualify inquiries, routing calls to the correct sales manager for follow-up. Create proposals, contracts, and BEOs to be sent by Sales Managers when requested. Maintain continuous communication with the Group Sales Managers regarding accurate follow-up and closure of the business. Maintain positive working relationships with departments interacting with in-house groups. Effectively deal with internal and external guests, exercising patience, tact and diplomacy as needed to defuse anger, collect factual information, and resolve conflict. Support multiple Sales Managers in their efforts to close business; communicate verbally and in writing in English; prepare dynamic proposals. Provide hands-on support during peak business times. Maintain hotel competitive analysis and statistical information. Contact in-house guests, group leaders, and meeting planners to promote goodwill and garner additional business. Maintain current filing system and prepare reports (Sales Call Reports, Internal Sales Reports, etc.). Follow up on progress of booked groups by monitoring room night pick-up, rooming lists and cut-off dates. Attend weekly sales and team meetings; collaborate with all departments to fulfill guest and client expectations. Generate group and/or corporate leads through internet prospecting, networking, and telemarketing. Ensure all documents produced by the Sales Department (BEOs, contracts, rooming lists, proposals) are completed accurately and on time. Coordinate necessary arrangements with vendors related to sales. Assist the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information. Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Actively update the entire sales and catering process in the sales software system. Prepare reports including but not limited to: Lost Business Reports, Weekly Activity Reports, Weekly Call Reports, Group and Catering Goals, Group and Catering Pace Reports, Sales Action Plan, Budget ROB and Forecast, Sales Pipeline. Manage CRM and account workflow; prepare BEOs, create proposals, and merge contracts. Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales, Sales or management; completes projects and seeks additional tasks when current work is complete. Participate in ongoing education and training of Franchise and Hotel Management Company. Qualifications
