Sr. Manager - Outsourced Accounting Services

This role supports our Outsourced Finance & Accounting team by providing outsourced CFO, Controller, Accounting Senior Manager, and advisory services to a diverse range of clients across industries. Overview

This is a client-service oriented role responsible for managing a team of accountants, overseeing client relationships, and delivering outsourced accounting services to entities including subsidiaries, joint ventures, Fortune 100 companies, public companies, government entities, and fund management firms. Our clients are located across the U.S. and serviced from offices and virtual environments. What you will be responsible for

Evaluates client needs related to accounting and finance processes and assesses the accounting function to recommend project approaches. Contributes to the proposal development process on outsourced controller/CFO projects and other special projects. Participates in engagement planning and budgeting and defines content and deliverables while managing controls and risk. Manages, delivers, and performs on outsourced controller/CFO projects. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with clients and client representatives to identify their needs and provide solutions. Provides clients with advice on the financial implications of business activities. Manages month-end close process and prepares financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Performs research of technical accounting issues and formulates resolutions. Manages special projects related to client accounting functions and recommends improvements to internal processes and controls. Analyzes trends and metrics with leadership to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Identifies client challenges and manages day-to-day relationships; ensures appropriate staffing on projects. Manages scheduling of internal and external activities and creates/monitors project budgets to stay on budget. Develops and maintains understanding of how Outsourced Accounting Services relate to other EisnerAmper offerings to deliver multi-focused solutions. Directs engagements and supervision of multiple engagements, ensuring assignments are completed within budgeted time and resources. Delivers client services including onsite/remote consultations, development and delivery of deliverables, training materials, and monthly client billing. Interacts with other service line leaders and EisnerAmper locations to coordinate efforts. Participates in practice development activities and monitors training programs for effectiveness. Reviews reports, statements, and returns; communicates status to senior management. Provides direction, training, guidance, and coaching to staff and senior consultants; addresses performance concerns and staff development. Maintains required CPE hours and travel as needed. Qualifications

BA/BS degree in accounting or related field CPA certification 8+ years of relevant accounting, audit and/or financial statement experience Prior supervisory experience Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Preferred/Additional qualifications

Accounting back-office experience Prior consulting experience in a similar firm/function Working knowledge of accounting software and systems (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Adobe; scheduling, travel, timekeeping tools) Proficiency with Sage Intacct, Restaurant 365, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and similar tools Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines; work well under pressure; excellent interpersonal skills Ability to identify opportunities to help clients grow and succeed; clear, concise communication; collaborative attitude Proven ability to manage client relationships and exceed expectations Ability to perform effectively in challenging situations Work location and compensation
