Sr. Manager - Outsourced Accounting Services (Special Projects)
EisnerAmper is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Outsourced Finance & Accounting team focused on special projects. This team assists our clients in transforming their organizations through a collaborative approach that enables them to manage risk, overcome challenges, meet deadlines, and identify personnel to address their workforce needs. The ideal candidate will be client-service oriented, creative, and have a strong understanding of business. In this role, you will provide outsourced CFO, Controller, Accounting Senior Manager, and advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including subsidiaries and joint ventures of Fortune 100 companies, public companies, professionally funded businesses, government entities, and fund management companies. Responsibilities will include: Evaluating client needs related to accounting and finance processes and assessing accounting function to recommend project approaches. Participating in engagement planning and budgeting and definition of content and deliverables while managing controls and risk. Managing, delivering, and performing on outsourced controller/CFO projects. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and client representatives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions. Providing client with advice on the financial implications of business activities. Managing month-end closing process and preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Researching technical accounting issues as appropriate and formulating resolution of issues identified through the research process. Basic qualifications: BA/BS degree in accounting or related field. CPA certification. 8+ years of relevant accounting, audit, and/or financial statements experience. Prior supervisory experience. Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. Preferred/Desired qualifications: Accounting back-office experience. Prior consulting experience in a similar firm/function. Aptitude for developing and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of accounting software and systems. Intermediate or advanced level with software tools, such as Sage Intacct, Restaurant 365, NetSuite, and QuickBooks. Strong organization skills/goal orientation/self-motivation.
