Responsibilities

Engage in personal meetings and telephone contact with agents to achieve sales objectives in growth, mix of business, and renewal retention

Manage assigned territory by evaluating competitor products, rates, and activities, providing appropriate recommendations

Maintain current knowledge of the underwriting territory, including the nature of agents' business

Create actionable Agency Sales Plans that align with financial objectives for growth, retention, and profit using data tools

Build and maintain strong relationships with agents to maximize revenue through Hartford products and services

Qualifications

3+ years of territorial sales and marketing experience, with strong product knowledge and sales skills; underwriting knowledge is beneficial

Proven outstanding sales performance, with a strong desire to win and self-motivation

Experience in agency training

Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as SalesForce, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to motivate others and work well independently

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Reside within commuting distance of the sales territory
