The Role
As a member of the Software/Fintech M&A team, you will play a critical role in executing sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements. This position offers significant responsibility and direct client exposure from day one. Position Levels
Analyst 3 A2A (Analyst to Associate) Associate 2 Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of M&A transactions from inception through closing Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, valuation modeling, and due diligence Prepare marketing materials, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations Manage transaction processes including buyer/seller outreach, negotiations, and coordination with legal and accounting advisors Develop and maintain strong client relationships with C-suite executives Mentor and guide junior team members Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives Required Qualifications
Transaction Experience:
2-3 closed software and/or fintech M&A transactions with demonstrated success Industry Tenure:
Minimum 1 year of relevant M&A experience, ideally within technology-focused investment banking or corporate development Technical Skills:
Advanced financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), and Excel proficiency Analytical Capabilities:
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly Work Style:
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously Availability:
Immediate or near-term availability strongly preferred Ideal Candidate Profile
Background in software, SaaS, fintech, or payments sectors Experience working with middle-market companies ($100M-$1B+ in enterprise value) Track record of taking ownership and driving results Strong business judgment and strategic thinking abilities Passion for technology and financial services innovation What We Offer
