Corporate Finance Partner with leveraged finance and sponsor-backed lending expertise to join a Large AmLaw 200 firm on a national/multi-office platform. This role offers partner-level work without an immediate, large book of business expectation. Position Overview
The firm seeks an experienced
Corporate Finance Partner
to lead leveraged finance transactions, sponsor-backed deals, refinancings, and other complex corporate financings. Ideal for someone looking to leverage transactional experience at a partner level in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and advise on
leveraged acquisition finance transactions , sponsor-backed deals, refinancings, and other complex corporate financings. Structure and negotiate credit facilities, term loans, bridge financings, and corporate acquisition financing for commercial finance companies, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors. Oversee due diligence, contractual documentation, and closing of finance transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., tax, regulatory, real estate) to deliver seamless service. Mentor and develop associates and mid-level lawyers in the corporate finance/lending practice. Participate in business development: building relationships and, at times, generating portable business, though not required at entry. Candidate Requirements
Juris Doctor (or equivalent), admitted in one or more U.S. jurisdictions. At least 8–10+ years of experience in leveraged finance, corporate acquisition finance, or similar transactional banking/lending work. Familiarity with private equity sponsor structures and negotiating financing terms/credit documents. Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and take ownership from start to finish. Why This Opportunity Is Unique
