iGas is a fast-growing and global leader in the HVAC refrigerant industry. Our company seeks a full-time on-site Accounting Manager in Tampa, FL. The role supports accounting operations, ensures accuracy in financial reporting, and maintains regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has strong managerial skills, solid accounting knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers. Key liaison between headquarters Accounting team and all overseas subsidiary divisions Familiar with international accounting & tax practice Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. Manage monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare financial reports, including budget variance analysis. Manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Manage audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency. Recruit and develop Accounting talents Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of accounting managerial experience Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other accounting software such as QuickBooks, Dynamics365 Business Central, or similar platforms. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. CPA, or CMA or working towards CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required. Able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Seniority level
