Overview
Retail Store Manager I - #50 at State of New Hampshire. Location: Nashua, NH. Base pay range: $17.81/hr - $23.39/hr. This is a full-time role with responsibilities in supervision, store operations, and customer service within NH Liquor Commission stores. Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service by building a loyal customer base and enhances customer relations and the NH Liquor Commission’s reputation. Acts as a store manager in a low-volume retail environment and supervises store personnel up to the Retail Salesperson III level. In larger stores, assists with daily store operations including opening/closing, merchandising displays, deposits, and inventory management. Provides routine training and guidance to store employees on store operations. Accounts for stock and maintains inventory levels; anticipates and acts on sale items as necessary. Calculates sales transactions and prepares bank deposits; reviews computer printouts and makes recommendations to the Store Manager. Supervises and guides store personnel; serves as Retail Salesperson when not assisting the Store Manager. Supervises all employees and can fill in for higher-level Store Manager for short periods; may be assigned to work in other stores requiring travel. Applicants are subject to criminal background and reference checks. Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after high school. License/Certification:
Valid driver’s license. Other Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, with frequent lifting of cases of alcohol up to 60 pounds. Must be able to work a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience in a public contact, retail store, cash-handling position preferred. Additional Information
