About The Company Our client is a private credit investment firm with over $15 billion in AUM. The firm focuses on investments in private equity, special situations, and financing opportunities globally. The Accounting Director will be responsible for overseeing and handling a wide range of accounting and financial tasks for the GP entities of the firm. Responsibilities
Prepare the quarterly reporting for multiple funds and co-investment vehicles Calculate the GP’s capital calls and distributions in coordination with the fund administrator and fund accounting team Prepare carry pools and calculations for various individuals Oversee and manage complex co-investment structures and loans at the GP level Review and approve journal entries and review results in the general ledger Perform quarterly financial statements and review postings for the investor portal Provide investment accounting for key members Coordinate with internal and external advisors on tax planning, compliance, and preparation of tax returns Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting 10-15 years of accounting experience with a focus on GP accounting CPA and/or CFP preferred Proficient in accounting software Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial planning Proven track record of handling confidential information Salary
