Job Description
Responsible for preparing complex financial analyses and reports for management, including identifying investment opportunities. Plan, review, and prepare internal and external reports, schedules, and statements using lookup functions. Perform statistical reporting, analyze financial performance, variances, and costs to identify trends. Assess the effectiveness of business strategies and monitor key indicators to evaluate potential impacts. Use manufacturing experience to develop forecasting models for expenses and staffing, and evaluate financial plans. Apply quantitative analysis to inform resource investment decisions and identify risks and opportunities. Utilize Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, DFSS) to identify causes of variation and improve processes. Collaborate with cost and manufacturing accounting to analyze variances and costs. Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models, including NPV and IRR for new business ventures. Lead the Annual Operations Plan (AOP), ensuring accurate forecasts of volumes, revenues, expenses, and staffing. Ensure compliance with US GAAP in recording transactions and evaluate accounting standards. Partner with stakeholders to analyze trends, validate assumptions, and provide forward-looking projections. Interpret financial data to provide insights, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Experience and Education
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience. Experience should include statistical reporting, cost analysis, forecasting, quantitative analysis, Six Sigma tools, financial modeling, and knowledge of US GAAP. About the company
