Job Description Financial Planning & Analysis, Analyst (FP&A) Atlanta, GA 30305 | On-Site Job Summary: ARC Group is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join a leading healthcare organization in Atlanta, GA. This individual contributor will support financial planning, modeling, analysis, and forecasting, while preparing reports on financial and budgeting trends. The role involves evaluating operational performance, providing actionable insights, and making recommendations to drive financial performance and business growth. This a hybrid role. The work location is on-site with flexibility to work remotely; the primary location will be in-office for meetings. Candidates must reside in the Greater Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise, insights, and guidance; mentor team members as needed.
Complete assignments by applying current financial and business knowledge to generate innovative solutions, while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Conduct financial assessments and generate reports summarizing business, financial, and economic data to evaluate performance and support strategic decisions.
Identify cost avoidance and recovery opportunities through detailed costing analysis.
Monitor financial trends, flag operational issues, and partner with the business to improve performance.
Develop and maintain financial models, risk analyses, and “what-if” scenarios to support decision-making.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and departmental financial plans aligned with business objectives.
Conduct complex financial analyses, including P&L variance analysis, cash flow, NPV, IRR, discounted cash flow, and statistical evaluations.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and reviewing results.
Evaluate financial performance of business partners, suppliers, and acquisition targets to assess risk and viability.
Advise leadership on strategic fiscal matters through regular reporting and analytics.
Support strategic financial planning by gathering data, analyzing benchmarks, and preparing recommendations for operating forecasts, acquisition activity, and financial requirements.
FP&A Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of FP&A or directly related financial/business experience.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities.
