Prospect Research Analyst

Clemson University . Clemson University's Prospect Research Team is seeking a Prospect Research Analyst to support major gift fundraising efforts across Colleges/Units. This role provides analytical information to fundraise staff to contribute to gift officers' success.
Job Duties
40% - Essential - Research, Analysis and Evaluation: Utilize quantitative criteria to evaluate each prospect's potential and propensity to give. Evaluate research results to develop and implement further research strategies using ethical intelligence-gathering techniques per APRA guidelines. Proficiently use the Constituent Relationship Management system (Blackbaud CRM) to analyze prospect data and run basic queries. 30% - Essential - Major/Principal Gift Prospect Identification: Plan and execute strategies to identify sources of major gift private support for fundraising initiatives. Present identified prospects with the capacity to give a gift in excess of $50,000 to assigned Development Officers. Advise on interdisciplinary interests and other factors that can impact gift giving. 30% - Essential - Consultation and Writing: Consult with assigned College/Unit Development Officers to provide comprehensive research analysis and strategic insight on major gift prospects. Write accurate profiles, biographies and project summaries for development staff per established protocols.

Standard Hours: 37.5 Hours / Week
Compensation
Expected Salary Range: $44,653.00 - $60,000.00 Salary is dependent upon factors including experience, knowledge, skills and performance per Clemson compensation guidelines.
Benefits and Additional Information
Essential Personnel Level: Normal Operations. Required to follow emergency facility closure directives. Not normally expected to work on-site during emergencies.
