We are seeking a proactive and experienced
EHS Manager
to lead our environmental, health, and safety initiatives at our electrical equipment manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement across all EHS programs. Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations; recommend corrective actions and ensure timely resolution. Lead training programs on safety protocols, hazardous materials handling, emergency response, and environmental compliance. Monitor and report on key EHS metrics; drive initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and environmental impact. Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to integrate safety into operational processes. Manage waste disposal, air and water quality programs, and sustainability initiatives. Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and lead site inspections. Maintain and update SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals. Champion a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably electrical or industrial equipment. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other relevant regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are a plus. Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards preferred. Seniority level
