Conduct VIE analysis and consolidate financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. Lead the preparation of SEC reporting documents, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings. Collaborate with the investor relations team to provide accurate financial information to investors, including Angel Investors and other fund investors. Manage the audit process by coordinating with external auditors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of audits. Use technical accounting skills to research, evaluate, and conclude on new and proposed accounting, reporting, and disclosure standards issued by the SEC and FASB. Use Yardi and Workiva software for financial data management and reporting. Participate in special projects involving strategic initiatives and corporate accounting matters. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA license is preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting preferred, with a focus on real estate and corporate accounting. Extensive knowledge of SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, and the audit process. Experience in technical accounting research and VIE analysis. Proficient in using Yardi and Workiva software for financial data management and reporting. Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large amounts of financial data. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
