As our Client continues to scale, we're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Senior Accountant
to join their Finance team and help strengthen our financial operations and reporting functions. Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and may supervise junior accounting staff or support cross-functional finance projects. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies independently. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Review and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Mentor or supervise junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or a related fieldexperience Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control practices. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Preferred Qualifications:
