Senior Accountant
with strong expertise in
fixed assets accounting
to join our growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our asset records and supporting month-end close and audit processes. The role is a contract for a pharmaceutical company near Southlake, TX. Base pay range
$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger. Manage all aspects of the fixed asset lifecycle: capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, and disposals. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on fixed assets for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies regarding asset management. Assist with internal and external audits, providing schedules and documentation as required. Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure proper tracking and classification of capital expenditures. Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Participate in system upgrades and process improvements related to fixed asset management.
