Accounting Manager - Farmers Branch (100k-110k + Bonus)

LHH is working with a client that is adding a new Accounting Manager to their team. In this role you will lead and manage the fixed asset accounting function. This role will oversee the lifecycle of fixed assets—from acquisition and capitalization to depreciation and disposal—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fixed asset accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth setting. Job Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation, across a portfolio of retail locations. Maintain the fixed asset subledger and ensure alignment with the general ledger. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies for capitalization, depreciation, and asset impairment. Partner with construction, real estate, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of capital projects and store openings/renovations. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities related to fixed assets. Support audit processes by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and maintaining supporting documentation. Collaborate with finance and FP&A teams to support forecasting and budgeting for capital expenditures. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff or analysts as applicable. Maintain fixed asset register and ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance where applicable. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years focused on fixed asset accounting Experience in a multi-unit retail, hospitality, or similar environment highly preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP, fixed asset lifecycle, and capital expenditure policies Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite); experience with fixed asset modules a plus Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting/reporting tools Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements If you are interested in this opportunity, or any other career opportunities from LHH Recruitment Solutions please send your resume to: Arnand.Gayapershad@LHH.com
