Manager of Accounting
to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role supports our
MarketForce team
in maintaining compliance, driving efficiency, and delivering timely financial insights. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong foundation in accounting best practices, capable of managing a team, leading month-end closes, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Supervise and develop accounting team; ensure timely month-end, quarterly, and annual closes.
Prepare and review financial reports and variance analyses for accuracy.
Maintain compliance with internal policies, GAAP/IFRS, and audit standards.
Improve accounting processes and systems for increased accuracy and efficiency.
Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other teams for financial insights.
Assist in implementing new standards, processes, and technology tools.
Ensure data consistency and clear documentation across financial records.
Support strategic initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related; CPA preferred.
6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in BPO, shared services, or multinational environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
