Overview
The SBA Loan Officer (LO) is responsible for developing a plan to maintain and grow internal partnerships with Business Banking and Commercial Lending Relationship Managers, and external referral sources to maintain and grow existing clients and develop new relationships that meet client selectivity and risk appetite. The LO has a proven track record in winning new relationships (credit and non-credit) and negotiating SBA 7a terms with minimal assistance. LO’s will work with appropriate banking colleagues to deliver credit relationships under guidance of Credit Administration and the SBA Program Manager. This position will not manage relationships but will assist RM’s in related efforts. All WaFd Bank employees uphold the value of simply being kind when working with colleagues and servicing clients.
