A multi-family office with $32 billion in assets under management is dedicated to serving the unique needs of high-net-worth families. They are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their Business Services department, focusing on accounting operations and compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist Controller with day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Develop and support internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Collaborate with Controller to ensure audit readiness through accurate documentation and resolving discrepancies. Assist with the oversight, preparation, and filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes. Offer insight into the maintenance and improvement of accounting systems. Collaborate with the finance team on long-term financial planning and capital investments. Serve as a business partner to key internal stakeholders and non-accounting business teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. 3-7 years of progressive experience in accounting. Deep knowledge of accounting principles and experience with month-end and year-end closing processes. Strong background in financial reporting and general ledger oversight. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant accounting software preferred (such as NetSuite and Concur).

Salary:
$125,000 – $160,000, Plus Bonus
