Finance Manager

will support the Director of Finance in managing all aspects of the Finance Department, including financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, compliance, and internal controls. This role ensures the integrity of financial information, assists in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provides financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making. The

Finance Manager

plays a key leadership role in maintaining accountability, supporting departmental leaders, and ensuring the hotel operates efficiently and in line with Hyatt and ownership expectations. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accordance with Hyatt and local requirements. Assist with annual budget preparation and rolling forecasts. Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide explanations and recommendations to management. Support the preparation of reports required by ownership and corporate teams. Operational Finance & Controls: Manage accounts payable and receivable operations. Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and P&L accuracy. Ensure proper controls over cash handling, purchasing, and expense authorization. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise and develop the Finance team, fostering growth and continuous learning. Provide training and guidance to department heads on financial management and accountability. Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize efficiency and cost management while maintaining service quality. Act as a resource for problem-solving and decision support across the property. Compliance & External Relations: Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations, and industry practices. Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in hospitality or a service industry. Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced Excel and financial systems skills (experience with Hyatt systems such as BirchStreet, Hyperion, or equivalent preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
