Position Responsibilities

Recruit and assist prospective students to OSU Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment, meeting individual territory and overall admission enrollment goals. Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, families, and counselors, promoting the university and discussing admission policies, housing, scholarships, and financial aid. Proactively anticipate student needs and respond appropriately. Conduct trend analysis for assigned territories and formulate action plans based on analysis. Collaborate with recruitment staff and leadership to integrate analysis results into the university’s enrollment plan. Develop and execute outreach strategies, including calls, texts, emails, and personal interactions, to meet monthly contact benchmarks. Give presentations about OSU to prospective students and families, both on and off-campus. Participate in recruitment events and develop activities to market OSU to prospective students. Maintain a public presence at high schools, college fairs, and community locations, including publication of contact information and event details. Assist with daily office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and providing guidance to prospective students and families. Travel in-state and out-of-state multiple times per month, with overnight stays often required. Ability to lift 45 lbs. and work beyond regular hours as needed. Employment contingent upon successful background check. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree conferred prior to or upon start date. One year related experience required. Valid Driver's License required. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Five years related experience, including two years as an OSU admissions counselor. Organization
