We are seeking an Onboarding, Senior Manager to join the People and Culture Learning and Development department. This role can sit in any of our offices and is considered remote, with occasional requirements to be present at a CohnReznick office for client work, team meetings, or trainings. Your Team

The Learning and Development (L&D) department is committed to the personal and professional development of our team, providing premier learning opportunities and resources to support continuous growth. Reporting to the National L&D Director, the Senior Manager of Onboarding will lead and standardize the firm’s onboarding strategy with a focus on M&A integration, partner onboarding, global growth, and experienced lateral hires. The role designs, implements, and enhances a cohesive onboarding framework for employees across all levels and geographies, including onboarding for newly acquired firms and a scalable, global experience. Your Role

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the firm’s onboarding processes for all new employees, ensuring tailored experiences for different levels of the organization. Design and manage a high-touch onboarding experience for newly admitted partners, incorporating executive engagement touchpoints, peer connections, and customized resources to accelerate time-to-impact and integration into firm leadership. Design structured experienced hire programs that connect new hires with peers, mentors, and leadership. Proactively consult and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document needs. Leverage global onboarding strategies and practices to create an inclusive, cross-border onboarding experience that addresses regional and cultural differences. Leadership and Team Management

Provide guidance and support to team members involved in the onboarding process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Mentor and guide global onboarding teams to ensure cohesive implementation across regions. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments involved in onboarding. Regularly update senior leadership on onboarding progress, challenges, and successes, aligning with the firm’s strategic goals. Innovation and Assessment

Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking to stay abreast of global and industry onboarding trends and best practices. Perform program evaluations to measure learning program impact and effectiveness. Use data analytics to drive decisions and improvements in onboarding to meet evolving needs. Continuously iterate and enhance onboarding strategies based on new hire insights. Pre-Onboarding Preparation

Partner with designated project owners from P&C Field, IT and Administration to confirm communication and setup of accounts, equipment, and workspace. Develop welcome communications, including email sequences and onboarding packets. Cultural Integration Activities

Leverage storytelling, leadership videos, and interactive content introducing the firm’s mission, vision, values, and culture. Work with Chief People Officer, Chief of Staff, and ERG leaders to implement initiatives that promote equity and inclusion. Introduce new hires to employee resource groups (ERGs), affinity groups, and internal networks. Encourage participation in CSR and firm-wide engagement activities. Develop initiatives to integrate new hires into the broader firm community. Compliance and Policy Training

Manage processes ensuring new hires complete required compliance certifications, forms, and agreements. Partner with Talent Management, P&C Field, CLD, and Legal to keep onboarding materials up to date with firm policies. Your Experience

The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in human resource management or a relevant field. 8+ years of experience in talent development, HR, or related roles, preferably in a professional services environment. Intermediate to advanced project management skills with the ability to handle multiple onboarding cohorts and individuals simultaneously. Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding programs with a focus on engagement, culture, and performance. Experience in managing global onboarding programs and understanding regional and cultural differences. Experience onboarding employees of all levels, from interns to partners, adapting strategies for different profiles. Strategic thinking to align onboarding initiatives with the firm’s long-term goals. Supervisory experience with direct reports and committees. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust and credibility. Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging employee experience. Ability to work effectively with directors and partners, fostering strong professional relationships. Ability to travel up to 30%. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in HR, Organization Design, or Instructional Systems Development. SHRM or HRCI designation. Additional Information
