department. This role can sit in any CohnReznick office. The firm is hybrid; most professionals are located within a commutable distance to an office. This position is considered remote and does not require duties be performed near an office, but may require presence at a CohnReznick office for client work, team meetings, or trainings with notice. The Learning and Development (L&D) department is pivotal in equipping professionals with premier learning opportunities and resources and fostering a culture of continuous growth and improvement. Reporting directly to the National L&D Director, the Senior Manager of Onboarding will shape and standardize the firm’s onboarding strategy, with a focus on M&A integration, partner onboarding, global growth, and experienced lateral hires. The role designs, implements, and enhances a cohesive onboarding framework that ensures a seamless and impactful transition for new employees across all levels and geographies. A key priority is leading onboarding for newly acquired firms, ensuring cultural alignment, operational readiness, and rapid integration into the firm’s systems and values. The Senior Manager will drive a consistent, scalable onboarding experience across U.S. and global offices, collaborating with stakeholders in People and Culture, Global Digital & Cybersecurity (IT), and business leadership. The role will enhance existing processes for campus hires. YOUR ROLE Responsibilities Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the firm’s onboarding processes for all new employees, ensuring tailored experiences for different levels. Design and manage a high-touch onboarding experience for newly admitted partners, including executive engagement touchpoints, peer connections, and customized resources to accelerate impact and integration into firm leadership. Design structured experienced hire programs connecting new hires with peers, mentors, and leadership. Proactively consult with key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document onboarding needs. Leverage global onboarding strategies to create an inclusive cross-border experience across regions and cultures. Leadership and Team Management Guide and support team members involved in onboarding, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth. Mentor global onboarding teams to ensure cohesive implementation across regions. Lead cross-functional teams to align onboarding across departments. Regularly update senior leadership on onboarding progress, challenges, and successes, aligning with strategic goals. Innovation and Assessment Research and benchmark global onboarding trends and best practices to keep the firm competitive and innovative across regions. Evaluate programs to measure business impact and effectiveness. Use data analytics to drive onboarding decisions and improvements. Iterate and enhance onboarding strategies based on new hire insights. Pre-Onboarding Preparation Coordinate with P&C Field, IT, and Administration to confirm communication and setup of accounts, equipment, and workspace. Develop welcome communications, including email sequences and onboarding packets. Cultural Integration Activities Use storytelling, leadership videos, and interactive content to introduce the firm’s mission, vision, values, and culture. Collaborate with the Chief People Officer, Chief of Staff, and ERG leaders to implement equity and inclusion initiatives. Introduce new hires to ERGs, affinity groups, and internal networks; encourage participation in CSR and engagement activities; develop initiatives to integrate new hires into the broader firm community. Compliance and Policy Training Ensure new hires complete required compliance certifications, forms, and agreements. Partner with Talent Management, P&C Field, CLD, and Legal to keep onboarding materials up to date with firm policies. Your Experience The successful candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in human resource management or a related field. 8+ years of experience in talent development, HR, or related roles, ideally in a professional services environment. Intermediate to advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding cohorts and individuals. Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding programs focused on engagement, culture, and performance. Experience managing global onboarding programs across multiple regions and cultures. Experience onboarding employees at all levels, from interns to partners, with adaptable strategies. Strategic thinking to align onboarding initiatives with the firm’s long-term goals. Supervisory experience with direct reports and committees. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust and credibility. Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging employee experience. Ability to work effectively with directors and partners and build strong professional relationships. Ability to travel up to 30%. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in HR, Organization Design, or Instructional Systems Development. SHRM or HRCI designation.
