department. This role can sit in any CohnReznick office. The firm is hybrid and this position is remote, with some in-person requirements for client work, team meetings, or trainings as scheduled.

Your Team The Learning and Development (L&D) department is focused on equipping professionals with premier learning opportunities and resources, fostering a culture of continuous growth. Reporting directly to the National L&D Director, the Senior Manager of Onboarding will lead the firm’s onboarding strategy, with emphasis on M&A integration, partner onboarding, global growth, and experienced lateral hires. The role will design, implement, and continuously enhance a cohesive onboarding framework across all levels and geographies.

Responsibilities

Overall Management Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the firm’s onboarding processes for all new employees, ensuring tailored experiences for different levels.

Design and manage a high-touch onboarding experience for newly admitted partners, with executive engagement, peer connections, and customized resources.

Design structured experienced hire programs connecting new hires with peers, mentors, and leadership.

Consult with key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document onboarding needs.

Leverage global onboarding strategies to create an inclusive, cross-border experience across regions and cultures.

Leadership and Team Management Provide guidance to onboarding team members, fostering continuous improvement and growth.

Mentor global onboarding teams for cohesive implementation across regions.

Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across onboarding stakeholders.

Update senior leadership on onboarding progress, challenges, and successes aligned with strategic goals.

Innovation and Assessment Research and benchmark global onboarding trends to maintain competitiveness and innovation.

Evaluate programs to measure business impact and effectiveness.

Use data analytics to drive decisions and improvements in onboarding.

Iterate onboarding strategies based on new hire insights.

Pre-Onboarding Preparation Partner with P&C Field, IT, and Administration to confirm communications and setup of accounts, equipment, and workspace.

Develop welcome communications and onboarding packets.

Cultural Integration Activities Utilize storytelling and leadership content to convey the firm’s mission, vision, values, and culture.

Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and ERG leaders to promote equity and inclusion.

Introduce new hires to ERGs, affinity groups, and internal networks; encourage CSR and engagement activities; integrate new hires into the firm community.

Compliance and Policy Training Ensure new hires complete required compliance certifications, forms, and agreements.

Keep onboarding materials up to date with firm policies in collaboration with Legal and Talent Management.

Your Experience The successful candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in human resource management or a relevant field.

8+ years of experience in talent development, HR, or related roles, preferably in a professional services environment.

Intermediate to advanced project management skills with the ability to handle multiple onboarding cohorts and individuals simultaneously.

Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding programs focused on engagement, culture, and performance.

Experience managing global onboarding programs across regions and cultures.

Experience onboarding employees from interns to partners, adapting strategies for different profiles.

Strategic thinking and ability to align onboarding with the firm’s long-term goals.

Supervisory experience of direct reports and committees.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust and credibility.

Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging employee experience.

Ability to work with directors and partners and foster professional relationships.

Ability to travel 30%.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in HR, Organization Design, or Instructional Systems Development.

SHRM or HRCI designation.
