Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong research, legal writing skills, and academic record required. Strong ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing required. Experience representing employers in discrimination and wage/hour disputes, including single-plaintiff and class/collective actions or other complex employment litigation. Exposure with employment litigation, workplace counseling, and policy development is preferred. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is required. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, equal pay statutes, pay transparency requirements, employment contracts, and harassment/discrimination laws is preferred. Deposition, arbitration, and trial experience a plus. Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. Physical Requirements
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds; require sitting most of the time; walking and standing often necessary. Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing computer terminal, extensive reading. Salary range for this position applies to Colorado. The salary range reflects a variety of factors including experience, education, licensure/certifications, location, market demands, and other needs.
