We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles. This role is responsible for executing and supporting standard billing and client accounting processes, including the preparation of prebills and client invoices. The Billing Coordinator will also serve as a workflow coordinator, providing training and guidance to team members and acting as a resource for billing-related inquiries and reporting as needed. Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Process billing for attorneys across multiple practice groups, including reviewing and editing time narratives. Coordinate and monitor approved markdowns, write-offs, and other billing adjustments. Provide support and training to attorneys and administrative staff on billing procedures, policies, and best practices. Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Collections teams to resolve or prevent billing discrepancies. Assist with billing-related reporting and respond to client and internal inquiries as needed. Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with firm policies. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; experience with Aderant is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of billing workflows, client guidelines, and legal billing systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and implement effective solutions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Flexible, dependable, and maintains a positive, professional attitude.
