Title: Contract Administrative Manager Duration: 6 months contract with the possibility to get extended Pay: $35/hr Location: Burbank, CA The Contract Administration Department for a Television entertainment provider is seeking a Manager to provide high-level administrative support and oversee the contract administration process for above the line talent, ensuring compliance with company and guild policies. The teams handle all aspects of contract administration for television production. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, outstanding judgment, proactive thinking, and a high attention to detail, while interfacing with a variety of team members. Strong time management and multi-tasking skills are required. A positive and professional demeanor under pressure is a must. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate across teams and cover additional duties as needed.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the administration of the Above the Line Talent for multiple series in production
Create payment schedules for series writers, producers, and directors
Book episodic directors for episodic television series
Draft episodic director forms along with some light drafting
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement departments to ensure contract accuracy and completeness
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of business administration or relevant experience, preferably in Television production; understanding of WGA, DGA and SAG-AFTRA rates
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor when liaising with production and finance executives
Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with NetDocs, Airtable, Blast and SAP Concur highly preferred
