Construction Litigation Paralegal – Transactional (Miami Office)

JM Networking, LLC is recruiting for a highly skilled Construction Litigation Paralegal – Transactional to join the Real Estate–Construction Team of a leading law firm in its Miami office. This full-time, in-office role offers the opportunity to support complex litigation matters in Florida federal and state courts, while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing legal team.

Position Summary The Construction Litigation Paralegal – Transactional will assist with high-stakes litigation and transactional matters, supporting attorneys throughout the lifecycle of cases and deals. Trial experience and familiarity with digital litigation management tools are essential. Flexibility to work overtime is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare for depositions, motions, hearings, arbitration, mediation, and trial
Monitor court dockets and ensure compliance with regulatory and court-imposed schedules
Coordinate the exchange of exhibits and manage case documentation
Conduct factual research, draft chronologies, identify witnesses, and support case strategy
Analyze evidence and distill relevant information to support litigation issues
Organize and synthesize data into usable formats—summaries, reports, spreadsheets, charts, logs, and databases
Work Environment This role is based in the Miami office and requires regular in-office presence for day-to-day operations, team meetings, training, and relationship building.
Qualifications Skills & Competencies
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong client service and professional demeanor
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Pro; experience with Filesite is a plus
Skilled in litigation support platforms such as Concordance, Relativity, Opus 2, or Live Note
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree
Paralegal certification required
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a litigation paralegal in a mid- to large-sized law firm
Hands-on experience with eDiscovery tools and processes
Technology Requirements
Proficiency with Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
