Overview
Procurement Manager – Parts & Suppliers at International Motors, a TRATON GROUP company, to support Category Managers and their strategic initiatives. You will align sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and cost management goals, manage supplier relationships, resolve supply issues, and contribute to projects that improve procurement efficiency and strengthen the supply chain. As a subject matter expert, you’ll work across functions and with external partners to implement sourcing strategies, support negotiations, and drive continuous improvement within the procurement process.
Responsibilities
Supplier & Contract Management: Manage execution of contract price updates in collaboration with Category Managers, Commodity Managers, and Finance; execute RFQs to add parts to pricing contracts in alignment with Category Manager Team strategy; facilitate new supplier set-ups and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to implement commercial plans developed by the Category Manager Team; build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal customers; work with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on cost and sourcing goals. Operational Support & Problem Solving: Resolve day-to-day supply issues to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts to Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs); monitor supplier performance and escalate risks or issues as needed; support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and supplier collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree At least 1 year of purchasing/procurement experience
