Key Responsibilities and Activities

Accountable for developing KONE’s position and customer base in the market.

Drives proactive engagement and solution selling with different customer segments, showing value over the lifecycle.

Ensures development of customer relationships, profitability, customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Identifies and builds relationships with key decision makers, potential new targets and influencers.

Promotes and demonstrates the value of KONE digital offering.

Responsible for District and Individual Sales Plans (ISPs) for their team.

Participates in market and customer analysis to ensure quality of sales planning.

Participates in pricing and offering management to drive market pricing and profitability.

Responsible for gathering relevant information about competitors and market from the field.

Responsible for identifying opportunities for cross-selling of all KONE solutions.

Drive execution of the individual sales plan including proactive/consultative sales visits where applicable.

Lead the Sell process including CRM data quality, opportunity management, and reporting.

Set sales targets according to market potential and unit guidelines; drive short and long-term sales results for the team.

Lead and develop the team to be proactive with customers, communicate the value of KONE solutions, and use solution selling methodology.

Coach team members to achieve better results through one-to-one dialogue and sharing of best practices.

Manage performance and develop the competences of the sales team; motivate and inspire high performance; ensure a great onboarding experience for new employees.

Responsible for succession planning for the team.

Collaborate with the AME Modernization team to drive process improvement and support data analysis.

Qualifications

7+ years of technical sales and sales leadership experience, preferably in service or technical sales.

Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of relevant experience in a comparable industry.

Compensation Annual base pay range and bonus eligibility vary by location and candidate qualifications. The compensation package will depend on the ability to meet role requirements and other factors including location.

Location-specific Ranges Area hiring ranges (examples): Portland/Las Vegas/San Diego/Sacramento: $171,600 – $235,900; Glendale/Costa Mesa/Redmond: $184,400 – $253,500; San Francisco/San Leandro: $200,400 – $275,500; Helena: $152,300 – $209,400.
