Outside Sales Territory Manager – Job Description Wurth Wood Group

is seeking an Outside Sales Territory Manager to cover a territory spanning from Birmingham, AL to Tuscaloosa, AL with some accounts on the east side of Birmingham. Office Location: 1640 Mims Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. Active Clients: Well over a hundred worth millions in business to be discussed in detail during the interview process. These will be your accounts without any internal competition or territorial overlap with other reps at the company. Typical Customers: High-end residential custom cabinet shops. Responsibilities

Manage current customer accounts and grow sales within the assigned territory. Develop and implement plans to expand market share; treat the territory as your own business. Use follow-up skills to ensure quality service and reliability for customers. Assist with Inside Sales Rep duties when needed and participate in on-site product training and vendor visits as required. Qualifications

Two (2) years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution arena Bachelor’s degree is preferred Advanced Excel skills Excellent written and communication skills Role Characteristics

Strong follow-up skills Highly organized Multitasking Ability, skills and knowledge to effectively work from home Professional Polished A strong desire to succeed and grow financially Compensation and Schedule

Compensation: $45k to $55k Base + Commission (2% to 3% of gross margin of territory) + monthly automotive allowance ($1000/month taxable income) + access to spiffs and other incentives throughout the year. Automotive allowance is in lieu of a gas card or company car. Pretax base + commission could range from $65k to $100k+ based on performance. These figures are approximate and can vary by factors such as performance and market conditions. Work Rhythm

Road time: At least 4 days per week on the road with some Fridays in the Birmingham office. Occasional coverage of Inside Sales Rep duties when the rep is on vacation. Overnight stays are occasional but rarely necessary. Training and Benefits
