to cover a territory spanning from
Birmingham, AL
to
Tuscaloosa, AL
with some accounts on the east side of Birmingham as well. Office Location:
1640 Mims Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211 The company has a long history of serving custom cabinet builders, commercial fixture and millwork companies. Wurth Wood Group provides a broad product range and support from specialized personnel to help customers succeed in cabinetry, furniture, store fixtures, millwork and casework. Territory and Customers
Active Clients:
Well over a hundred accounts worth millions in business. These will be your accounts without internal competition or territorial overlap with other reps.
Typical Customers:
High-end residential custom cabinet shops. Responsibilities
You will work independently to grow your market, seek top solutions for both the company and customers, and deliver quality service and reliability. Responsibilities include: Handle current customer accounts and grow sales and account scope. Treat the territory as your own business; use follow-up skills to drive growth. Possibly cover Inside Sales Rep duties when other reps are on vacation. Requirements
Two (2) years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution arena Bachelor's degree is preferred Advanced Excel skills Excellent written and communication skills Role Characteristics
Highly organized Multitasking Ability, skills and knowledge to effectively work from home Professional Polished A strong desire to succeed and grow financially Compensation and Training
Compensation Structure:
45k to 55k Base + Commission (2% to 3% off gross margin of territory) + monthly automotive allowance (1000/month taxable income) + access to spiffs and other incentives. Automotive allowance is in lieu of a gas card or company car. Pretax base + commission could range from 65k to 100k+ depending on performance. Add 12k to that number for approximate gross pretax income range. These are first-year estimates and may vary. You will work independently to grow your market, deliver top solutions for customers and the company, and provide quality service.
