Overview
Insight Global's client is looking for a seasoned sales professional with 7–15 years of experience in the energy and electrotechnical sector, particularly within the U.S. transmission and distribution (T&D) market. Brings a robust network across utilities, OEMs, EPCs, and key distributors, paired with deep technical knowledge of insulators, pole-line hardware, and substations.
Qualifications
7+ years of sales experience in the energy/electrotechnical sector, ideally with deep familiarity with the US T&D market.
Proven network with utilities, OEMs, EPCs, and possibly distributors (e.g., Wesco, Anixter, Irby).
Strong understanding of technical sales: familiarity with insulators, pole-line hardware, substations, etc.
Entrepreneurial mindset: capable of starting from scratch, including hiring reps, attending trade fairs, and managing early-stage operations.
Fluent English (native or C2). Italian is a strong plus.
Strong US utility relationships and experience selling technically complex products.
Compensation Starting at $150,000 plus performance-based bonus. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
