Accounting Manager
- Onsite (110K-120K) LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager for a leading construction and project-based services company located in the Dallas, TX. Responsibilities
Manage revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP, including percentage-of-completion accounting for project-based work. Prepare, review, and reconcile project billing in Aspire or similar ERP systems, ensuring contract compliance and accuracy. Oversee G&A accounting, including payables processing, coding, and reconciliations. Perform general ledger reconciliations, including revenue, WIP, and project-related accounts. Support month-end and year-end close, preparing journal entries, accruals, and detailed reconciliations. Provide financial reporting and analysis to leadership with insights on project profitability and cash flow trends. Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure proper job costing, coding, and financial tracking. Maintain organized documentation for audits and assist with audit requests as needed. Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA preferred. 4+ years of relevant accounting experience Proficiency with NetSuite, SAP or other large ERP system Knowledge of GAAP and project-based accounting, preferably within the construction or service industries.
