Location Clermont , QC G4A 1B7 Salary 90,000 to 150,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities
Tasks
Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems Design power plants, machines and equipment Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates Assess business opportunities and develop strategies Commission systems and components Print in 3D Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association SOLIDWORKS Certification Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge
Mastercam CAD/CAM SolidWorks software AutoCAD MS Windows MS Office MS Excel Area of work experience
Purchasing, procurement and contracts Research and development Project management Fabrication Project coordination Design Additional information
