The Production Manager is responsible for leading the Batch Production team, ensuring process compliance and operational excellence. This role is responsible for achieving key performance targets while fostering a high-performing team culture. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To: Build a winning team! Lead a team of highly skilled BP associates, including hiring, training, development, performance management, and policy compliance. Be an operational leader responsible for planning and executing the production plan while maintaining productivity and inventory targets. Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity targets of the BP team through effective and efficient Daily Management and KPI-driven action plans. Develop and execute a BP strategy aligned with global and site operational goals, including process improvements, new product integration, and equipment upgrades where applicable. Lead technical problem-solving efforts for Abcam Eugene products and build the technical problem-solving skills of the BP team. Ensure adherence to ISO9001 documented manufacturing processes and safety policies for the BP team. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of industry experience, or equivalent experience in a related field. Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including direct people management. Demonstrated success in continuous improvement initiatives; experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or DBS Kaizen’s preferred. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others. Displays a positive attitude in the face of difficult or challenging situations. Ability to effectively shift approach when as needed and make decisions in the face of ambiguity. Strong prioritization and communication skills, particularly in cross-functional environments.
