Build a winning team! Lead a team of highly skilled BP associates, including hiring, training, development, performance management, and policy compliance. Be an operational leader responsible for planning and executing the production plan while maintaining productivity and inventory targets. Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity targets of the BP team through effective and efficient Daily Management and KPI-driven action plans. Develop and execute a BP strategy aligned with global and site operational goals, including process improvements, new product integration, and equipment upgrades where applicable. Champion the Danaher Business System (DBS) and leverage it to map improvement plans and drive sustainable improvements through Daily Management (DM) and Kaizen methodologies. Lead technical problem-solving efforts for Abcam Eugene products and build the technical problem-solving skills of the BP team. Ensure adherence to ISO9001 documented manufacturing processes and safety policies for the BP team. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of industry experience, or equivalent experience in a related field. Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including direct people management. Demonstrated success in continuous improvement initiatives; experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or DBS Kaizen’s preferred. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others. Displays a positive attitude in the face of difficult or challenging situations. Provides an uplifting (yet realistic) outlook on what the future holds and the opportunities it might present. Ability to effectively shift approach when needed and make decisions in the face of ambiguity. Strong prioritization and communication skills, particularly in cross-functional environments. Travel, Vehicle and Physical/Environment Requirements

Ability to travel on occasion to other sites to participate in Kaizens and understand the wider Abcam business Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Nice To Have
