We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our facilities management team. This role is responsible for maintenance, repair, and optimization of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at assigned client facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal indoor air quality and climate control while supporting our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. What your day-to-day will look like

Maintenance & Operations

Operate and maintain all HVAC equipment including chillers, air handling units, and rooftop units and related equipment Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems Conduct routine inspections and testing of HVAC systems and components Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and respond to alarms and alerts Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records Coordinate with Chief Engineer on HVAC system priorities and projects Communicate HVAC issues and recommendations to Chief Engineer Maintain inventory of critical HVAC spare parts and supplies Assist Chief Engineer with HVAC asset tracking in Corrigo Support General Engineers with HVAC-related and other building issues as needed Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues Replace defective components including motors, belts, filters, and controls Perform emergency repairs to minimize disruption Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed Energy Management

Optimize system performance to maximize energy efficiency Monitor and analyze energy consumption data Implement energy conservation measures and best practices Support sustainability initiatives and green building certifications Safety & Compliance

Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and JLL safety standards Maintain EPA certification and handle refrigerants in accordance with regulations Participate in safety training programs and maintain clean safety record Follow lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights Ability to work in various weather conditions Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent EPA Universal Certification Minimum 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience Experience with building automation systems (Trane, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, etc.) Knowledge of chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and air handlers Experience with preventive maintenance programs Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities Familiarity with energy management systems Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile devices/tablets Preferred Qualifications

Technical degree or vocational training in HVAC preferred Location
