Join Hubbell Incorporated as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Under the direction of the Design Engineering Manager, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be tasked with the design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of electrical switching and control equipment. Job Overview : A Day In The Life involves participating in cross-functional teams to design and develop new contactors and electromechanical equipment. Responsibilities include: Participating in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to design and develop new contactors and other electromechanical equipment. Creating and maintaining 3D solid models, design layouts, and production drawings using CAD tools. Creating prototypes of new designs to test functionality and performance. Preparing and maintaining detailed design documentation. Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure components can be produced efficiently and cost-effectively. Traveling up to 10% of the time. Requirements : To thrive in this role, you will need: Five years of work experience related to the design and maintenance of electromechanical equipment. Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and their integration. Experience with 2D/3D CAD design tools. Strong organizational skills in project planning, design, and quality control. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively. Education : BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering. Hubbell Incorporated
