Overview
Job Title: Hardware Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027 Duration: 5 Months Pay Rate Range: $55 – $65 Responsibilities
Provide analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware for products. Develop test strategies, devices, and systems. Perform stress and performance tests on a variety of computer hardware, including circuit boards, processors, and wiring. May require a bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Embedded OS. Experience working in Aerospace or Defense. Experience working with test instruments and RF equipment. Experience with Python, C, LabWindow CVI, LabView. Experience with test certification processes (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254). Experience with developing Rack Stack ATE, adapters, and cable sets. Artech Information Systems
