Precise Daily Documentation: Meticulously document daily patient care, observations, and treatments in medical records, ensuring they are thorough, up-to-date, legally compliant, and reflect high clinical standards. Accurate Medication Order Transcription: Transcribe physicians’ orders to MARs with attention to detail to ensure safe and timely medication delivery. Seamless Pharmacy Coordination: Notify the pharmacy of new orders or changes to ensure continuous medication availability. Safe Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications as ordered, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Collaborative Interdisciplinary Engagement: Participate in the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and evaluate person-centered care plans. Vigilant Patient Monitoring and Assessment: Monitor patient conditions, identify changes or concerns, and implement appropriate nursing interventions. Comprehensive Wound Care Management: Provide wound care as prescribed, assess wound status, and document healing progress. Effective Communication and Education: Communicate care plans and health status to residents and families, and provide health-related education as needed. Adherence to Clinical Policies: Follow facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator. Qualifications
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Illinois. Commitment to patient-centered care and compassionate communication. Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and remain calm in a dynamic healthcare setting.
